World Premiere on the 7th of

December

Peaceful Moments has been a deeply personal project in motion since its early creation in 2022 where I sought to bring calm and catharsis to healthcare workers.

The album was released on the 10th of November 2025 and is currently available across all major streaming platforms. It was selected as ABC Classic’s Album of the Week from the 10th–17th of November, with tracks featured across the program throughout the week.

The album will receive its live world premiere on the 7th of December, performed by the incredible Matt Withers and Alex Raineri at The Church. With only 65 seats available and more than 400 people entering the ballot, the premiere marks an extraordinary level of anticipation. Check out the album on Spotify here! Or hear more about the creation of the album in my interview with Russell Torrance on ABC Classic’s Classic Breakfast here

My piece Sunbeam was recently named one of Limelight’s Top 25 Tracks in 25 Years, selected from more than 1500 Australian works released over the past seven years, and voted on by listeners over the course of a month, the list celebrates the music that has most resonated with audiences nationwide.

Listen to Sunbeam here, performed by the wonderful Matt Withers and featured on the ABC-commissioned album The Shift. Alternatively listen to the complete album here!

As the 2025 Layton Fellowship Winner, I have been commissioned by the Australia Ensemble to compose A Time, A Place—a new chamber work that reflects on our connections with places, each other and ourselves. The fellowship, awarded through UNSW, recognises emerging composers whose work demonstrates both artistic depth and strong creative potential. Read more about the work here in the latest UNSW interview!

Coming 2026

I am currently composing a new suite of works as part of an upcoming study on mental imagery, created in collaboration with fellow researchers at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Written for guitar, two pianos, and cello, and set for release in 2026, this collection aims to blend research and creativity in a way that feels both intimate and exploratory.

October 2025

In Conversation was a warm and intimate evening held by the water that featured music from my ‘Music for Calm and Catharsis’ album on the 24th of October. Throughout the evening, I spoke with the performers and audience about the stories, research, and personal threads that shaped the album. In Conversation offered a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into how the music was created and why it resonates so deeply, with the night bringing about sharing, connection, and quiet reflection. Check out a moment from the night here! Or listen to the amazing Muses Trio performing the album here or the complete album here!

To celebrate the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s 110th anniversary, twenty new works were created for a massive orchestral celebration at the Con. Among them was my miniature work Oscar and Felix—a joyful, whimsical piece inspired by my two beloved pups, whose sense of playfulness became the heart of the music but also embodied the heart of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

My first album with the Hush Foundation, Hush 18: Collective Wisdom, continues to find a life of its own. With the Sydney Symphony Orchestra performing a beautifully intimate string quartet version of We Won’t Let You Down in the Sydney Opera House’s Utzon Room, as well as a full string orchestra version under the stars in Parramatta Park, this album continues to be enjoyed by listeners.

Revisit We Won’t Let You Down through both its original recording with the Australian Chamber Orchestra on Hush 18 here, and its later appearance on ABC Classic’s Women of Note album here! Or check out the live recording of We Won’t Let You Down here!
